I would like to know, why I got this kind of email saying :
“Dear customer of avast program. We have found your avast’ antivirus is not downloading any new upgrades. That means, that your computer is not properly safe against new threats. For solving this problem please visit webpage www.avast.com/lp-update-fix or click on button below.”
What I want to know is, why I got this email, when avast antivirus works properly on both my pcs? (I am getting vps every day and I keep some track of upgrading whole software)

Had the very same email yesterday. Didn’t take any chances although it seemed genuine. I checked my pc,s and both updated correctly so deleted email. It’s a bit weird though as never had emails like this before. Also, website mentioned was a czech avast site.
Yep, it was czech here too, but I thought it’s normal, as I am from czech.
So I am not alone, firstly I thought too it’s some kind of false message or spam.
