I was searching for the avast event log files.
The provider of my embroidery software told me that my antivirus program is sometimes blocking a part of the program that causes the progam to unexpectedly close. I already added the entire program directory of my program to the permitted programs but still it happens. Much less then before, I want to know if there is an event log in Avast to see what is blocked the moment the program closes, also to see if it is Avast that causes these interuptions.
I do not recieve an alert window. That is why I thought there was logfile that might give some more information.
I think one of the processes what the progam uses is blocked. Might be cleared in the logfile.
The problem is Avast generally doesn’t just block without there being some sort of alert or warning window (which is why I asked).
To me this sounds a bit like passing the problem.

You can check here:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report
The files are text files but are also protected by avast, you can open them to read using notepad only.
Not knowing what this program does (local system only or connection to the internet, etc.), I have no idea which shield if any would interact with it.
I worked in another way, used the event viewer of Windows.
The moment the program stops I receive the following messages in the eventviewer:

Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
Yes, the questions asked are to try and help clarify the problem, without them I’m just guessing.
I can’t find aswpeantivirus.exe anywhere on my installation of Avast in the Program Files - C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\RescueDisk.
On searches for this online, I find reference to AVG Internet Security version 22.5.3235 by AVG Technologies, hence my question about Avast Program and version.
