im having so many probs with the new type of virus now a days…
for example…fujack and virut…
i thing avast should put some effort to protect itself from unauthorized modification from this type of virus…
for example the fujack…it inject its own virus to file contain .dll and .exe and usually .html
for virut… it cause many probs as even explorer.exe can be infected…

So i hope by now avast should put some effort to build some defender for itself…

They promised this for version 5… too far in the horizon…
You can try to repair your installation:
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).

And get your computer clean! I suggest the use of AVG Antispyware; SUPERantispyware and/or Spyware Terminator and on-line scanners like Kaspersky and Bitdefender.
