i ran a scan last night and the only thing found was cookies…i updated adaware and the next thing i know is that i cant access adaware and my cpu is running at 100%, and all but 5% is going to the AAWSERVICE.EXE .i’m not too techy but i know that this is not right!!any suggestions???
The file AAWSERVICE.EXE belongs to AdAware and not to avast.

If I were you, I’ll replace AdAware with a more reliable scanner nowadays.
Use SUPERantispyware, MBAM or Spyware Terminator to scan for spywares and trojans. If any infection is detected, better and safer is send the file to Quarantine than to simple delete them.
