Hello everybody.
Today i done the full scan (as i do every sunday) and i noticed that, this time, all the files with .pdf extension couldn’t be scanned due to error 42102: exception in macro viruses code.
I hope that someone can tell me something about this issue.

VPS version: 101114-0
Really all of them? Are they any special (e.g. all created by you, by some special software), or are they common files (like the ones included in Acrobat Reader installation folder, for example)?
Do you have any recent unpXXXXXX.mdmp files (XXXX are some numbers) in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ALWIL Software\Avast5\Log (Windows 2000/XP)
or
C:\ProgramData\ALWIL Software\Avast5\Log (Vista+)
?
No, the pdf files are manuals that i took from the web and were clean before last Vps update. I’m not at home now, but i’ll check those folders as soon as possible.
After updating the VPS the problem is gone… thank you for replying btw.
If you have any recent dump files there (with timestamps corresponding to the time when the problem occurred), we’d be interested in [a few of] them anyway - because nothing has changed in the PDF processing code recently, neither before you said it appeared, nor after.
