Error - 42102 - Exception in macro viruses code

Hi, I received exceptions for some NVIDIA PDF files: Error - 42102 - Exception in macro viruses code. Logs attached, as well as all five PDF files.

Any idea why?

Thanks!

more attachments…better more than less, right?

edit: site won’t let me attach PDF’s . I’ll see if I can host it somewhere…

Now some more background…

I bought this PC used. The seller said his web browser would crash, but it otherwise ran fine. I’ve only used Chrome so far and have seen a recurring problem with an “Aww snap…” error screen popping up frequently, which eventually does not appear if the same page is refreshed.

Microsoft Security Essentials consistently gets turned off automatically shortly after I enable it. Now it turns itself on for a short period and I can’t disable it (I have Avast running, of course!).

Two security updates have consistently failed to install - KB2742595 and KB2789642

I’m going to just do clean reinstall of Windows, but am thinking if there’s a chance there’s something the community thinks is worth learning here, I’ll be glad to help.

removal experts are notified, it may take hours before they arrive so be patient

Hi there is no apparent malware however, windows is reporting problems with the certificate store and a few other minor areas. As you are looking at a reinstall, that would be the best way to go as some system errors can be a pain to try and repair

Ok, thanks for checking into it.
