Error 82 (00000052)

Hello,
When I try to install avast! 4.8 home edition after downloading, following error message comes out immediately.

An error 82 (00000052) has occured.
Last performed operation was :
extracting main exe

It’s running on Windows XP.
Any idea?

I don’t know if this is a windows error or an avast one.

If windows then, error 52 = You were not connected because a duplicate name exists on the network. Go to System in Control Panel to change the computer name and try again.

Do you happen to have a network ?
Where are you trying to install avast! (default or other location) ?
