Error Code ? Help on 10048

Port 110 is already in use

avast! will not be
able to protect outgoing mail (STMP protocol) Error 10048

Port 25 is already in use

I use the email client mozilla ,running with hotmail popper

I suggest you run TCPView (www.sysinternals.com) to see what other applications are blocking that ports. I bet on your spam killer (pop3 110 port) and another email client (smtp 25 port).
