error loading vps

when i tried to load VPS i got the following:
VER. 4.8.1335
SI:ox2000001
ST:0xffffffff
LE:0x00000000

anybody able to interpret?

using vista
4.8.1335 ver of avast and no vps version to quote
using zonealarm but it still fails when zonealarm is off.
2 gig of memory
1.9 mhz amd athalon

all vestiges of other antiviruses removed.

ran MBAM and other malware plus hijackthis and identified nothing.

can you tell me what the codes above mean?

ooops! almost forgot to mention, i cannot get to the support page of avast to send a ticket.

now, respectfully, do you know anything about the error codes avast gave me or not? yes or no! and then i’ll answer all of your questions.

With the time I’ve being here in forum, yes, I know something about avast errors, although I’m not a programmer and would check avast setup log to say more about it.

thank you for your attention.

why does avast have their software print out such error messages and request that they be submitted if there is no way to have them interpreted?

did you copy and paste them or type them manually?
as I never saw this code before… ox2000001
Can you try to get that error message again and probably post a screenshot? or just copy and paste it again, as I feel that they are not 100% correct posted here…
it morely should be something like 0x20000011 or i don’t know…

Maybe because only the programmers could analyze it.
Maybe the programmers are focused on avast 5 right now.
Maybe because the support for a 75+ million users is almost impossible to be fully extent (for a free product).
