??? I downloaded and installed avast! on the 21st of this month. I use Outlook Express 6 with three different email accounts, mine, my wife’s and another email account. All accounts can be accessed fine until after the computer hasn’t been used for a while and the screen saver has come on. When the computer comes out of standby, my email still works fine, but when my wife tries to check her email, it gives the following errror message, “A TCP/IP error occurred while trying to connect to the server. Account: ‘pop.charter.net’; server: 127.0.0.1; protocol: POP3, port: 110, secure [SSL]:No, Error Number: 0x800CCC15”. I scanned through many of the posts on the forum to see if this problem has already been encounted, and it probably has, so my apologies if I’m bringing up a common issue that I didn’t see already posted. Any suggestions on how to fix would be appreciated.
A reboot seems to help but then it comes back again after the computer goes into standby. I’ll double check the settings in the email accounts to make sure they’re the same. Thanks!

I think I should clarify something as well. The three different “accounts” I spoke of are just three separate email addresses under the same account. I can check my email just fine regardless of whether the computer has just come out of standby mode or not. However, after the computer has come out of standby and my wife tries to “switch identities” in Outlook Express so she can check her email, that is when she gets the error message.
