I’m using Outlook version 12.0.4518.1014 and just had a crash of outlook when closing it.
Don’t know if this is of any help:

This was the first occurrence of such an error.

Is there anything more detailed in the Event Viewer, it usually reports the faulting program and possibly more important the faulting module (which may not be an avast module) ?
Sorry David, where do I find the “Event Viewer” ???
Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Events
Is there any dump file?
Please check the folder \data\log
The only items pertaining to todays date refer to updates.
Not in the anti-virus section but in the System or Application sections of the event viewer.
Only the fact that there was an error. Guess I’ll chalk this on up to computer gremlins
since this is the first time it’s ever happened and hasn’t accrued again.
