Hi,
i want to create a rescue disk on a USB (HP 16gb) but while installing, the process arrives at 29% and then gives the error: “the rescue disk could not be created”. How can i solve this problem?
EDIT: i get this error also when i try to download the .iso file clicking on “create cd”
It’s a known fault/bug caused by the last programme update.

An email I got from the Avast support team yesterday says that it wont be fixed until the next programme update, which usually come out every 2 - 3 months, so I wouldn’t expect this to be fixed any time before late November or sometime in December. And as the email said it should be fixed in the next programme update, it may not even be then. 
So we’ll be out of luck if we need a rescue disk before then…
