espeak911, colexity777, 37.220.36.44 malicious url blocked

I’ve been having issues with a laptop and I recently installed Avast! on it, and I’m constantly getting these malicious url blocked for espeak911, colexity777, and 37.220.36.44. After some research it’s probably better for me to just wipe the drive. Now my question is should I remove the virus first before wiping, or will it be okay for me just to wipe it without the removal?

If you need any information just let me know.

it seems you have avast and McAfee installed. Never install multiple AV as this will give a slower machine, mysterious windows errors and false detections
so you need to uninstall one AV…

when done, run the vendors removal tool to make sure all leftover files that may conflict are gone
you find the tools here http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/

I believe the file was deleted. When I ran the Killer I followed your instructions but then Avast got in the way saying something about a toolkit blocked. After I disabled Avast I reran the scan and the file was gone. Here is the report from the second scan. Thanks for your help! The computer and network are running much faster now.

Once you are happy let me know and I will tidy up

I’m happy. Thanks for all your help.
