do anyone here know how ewido realtime protection and guard works…i never see it…like spy sweeper or ad-watch(they will pop up and ask you something or allow or deny a change)i went to their forum and NOBODY has had a reply for two days…it’s in my taskbar and guard is active…that’s about it 8) ??? :stuck_out_tongue: thanks avast!forum for help and advice in the past…

I suggest you consider registering for, and downloading, the latest Ewido beta (version 4). It has a far bigger user panel and options and you will see how it works (version 3.5 is very simple in its user panel, isn’t it).

thanks…yeah!its simple allright…but a good program…my 14 day ended so i finally upgraded and got the full version…i’ll wait for the final release 4.0…seen pic’s of it on their forum 8) :smiley: :slight_smile:

They’ve removed the update via donwload of the signatures files :stuck_out_tongue:

Where have they done this ?
Do you mean like being able to download the avast complete VPS from the web site and install/update off-line ?

I have just used the program version 3.5 to do an Update that worked OK.

 Based on your info, I clicked on "Support" on the Ewido
 site and eventually put my mouse on the "Official Support
 Forum" and saw "Wilderssecurity" ; many months ago
 while looking through the various forums on Wilders, I saw
 the "Ewido" one . There is now an additional Ewido forum
 at castlecops; when it 1st formed, I posted and mentioned
 the one on Wilders and was accused of "link spam" by one
 of the Administrators !

Exactly: being able to download the complete signature file.

Most definitely a backward step and one to simply reduce bandwidth can’t be justified when compared to the user security benefit. If these are the types of corner they are going to cut to shave a few bucks off their bill, what next ::slight_smile: :o
