Excluding network shares?

What is the way to exclude a certain network share from being scanned when accessed? We have a server that hosts VSSDB and when clients connect to \server\VSSDB I don’t want any files being scanned cause they do huge diffs of the tree and it seems its going slower when avast is scanning these files. Both the server and the clients have avast so I’m not sure where I need to exclude in the standard shield or if I even can just type in \server\VSSDB like that.

Still looking for an answer here… anyone?

In the resident protection task’s settings (or any other on-access scanning task that’s associated to the appropriate computer catalog group), on the Standard Shield’s “4. Advanced” page, add the following mask to the list of exclusions:

\server\VSSDB*

That should do the trick.

Thanks
