Actually running Avast Home v4.7.892, VPS 0639-2 and i constantly get virus detection from NetGenius (Goldensoft.com) installed software.
Have tried to add folder in many maners to the ignore list, but Win32:LaSta-B [Trj] virus is still detected and reported. It’s nothink todo with virus since it’s how NetGenius work.
Probably a miss from Avast detection, but how to make exclusion folder work?
Regards, JAP
PS: Have tried some methods none working (C:\Program Files\GoldenSoft\NetRG\WinNT\Client*) and (*\GoldenSoft*)

Where did you add it, there are two locations for on-demand scans and for the on-access resident scanner ?
What did you add, e.g. C:\Program Files\effected program\executablefile.exe, *\effected program\executablefile.exe, *\executablefile.exe what ?
The two locations are, Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced and Program Settings, Exclusions.
Periodically check it (scan it in the chest), there should still be a copy in the chest even though you restored it to the original location. When it is no longer detected then you can also remove it from the Standard Shield and Program Settings, exclusions.
For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…
For the other providers (on-demmand scanning):
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon, click Program Settings.
Go to Exclusions tab and click on Add button…
You can use wildcards like * and ? like you’ve done. It should work. Maybe you should try the short path (D:\Program~1\ etc.
Note, for instance, that D:\Program Files\Firefox\profiles\profile1*.* requires the dot to be present in the path.
