is this Avast Pro registration like PowerDesk 8 Registration where even if your computer crashes due to electronic or mechanical failure and your computer id changes due to repairs will that count as another pc even though it’s still my computer with my identification? I just don’t want to be surprised again when i get the message to register again and have to pay for another license.
major components were replaced ? (motherboard …)
Sorry, misunderstood
@ Holdwine
The number of installs isn’t an issue.
However, I’m not really sure what you mean by “Explain 3 pc’s.”
If you have a purchased a 3PC license, that is good for installation on 3PCs, should you need to reinstall it on one or more of those PCs no problem, just enter the license again as you did previously.
Need to replace a PC completely no problem, uninstall old PC avast installation and install on the new PC. So long as you don’t exceed the number of PCs that the license is for.
So there you have three different answers for the price of one, confused, we were. But I don’t think you were talking about PowerDesk, but is avasts licensing policy like powerdesk and the answer would be no.
Thank you I was indeed asking about Avast’s policy as far as what constitutes a pc for licensing purposes. Well Done!!
You’re welcome.
You are going to have to give more information if you are having a problem.
