we have a win2k-server and a windows xp pro, where the ADNM-Client is running. there are about 15 clients (win2 K, win xp pro) we like to update, but it only works on 3 or 4 workstations.
i made a daily task to update the vps on the clients, which starts but after a while i get the error above.
can someone help me … it is really boring ?

Is there a proxy server on the network?
20000004 is “server down”, that is, server unreachable (or in other words, “cannot connect to the updating server”).

does that mean that the clients cannot connect to the update server (adnm-server), or that the adnm cannot connect to the avast-serve in the internet ?
there is a avm ken! as proxy on the network, and the adnm is installed on the same pc.
but we tried to install the adnm on the win2k-server, and on a win2k-workstation => with the same result.
what can i do to get the workstations updated ?
