I can’t get rid of push notifications about my system being infected even without a browser being open. I did a root scan and a full scan and Avast didn’t find anything. These notifications are constantly on toop of any other windows in the lower right portion of my screen running Windows 10
Do they actually say McAfee somewhere?
Avast itself will show you a lot of popups too. You can enable Limited Mode (Settings → Notifications) to stop most of them.
