A strange one here (certainly for me). First I’m using the Windows version of Avast Free, so I’m unfamiliar with the paid Avast Accounts.
I don’t know if an Avast Account would have been created with your email address to be able to login and request a refund and cancel any payment mandate if created.
You could try logging in with your email address used in the purchase at id.avast.com
