[False Alarm] BurnAware 1.1 (using new installer)

Hi,

BunAware 1.1 using the new installaer is detected as Win32:Trojan-gen {Other} it a buring application that previously was not detected by avast when it was using a different installer program but they switched the installer to InnoSetup and now it is being detected. Is there any way to please check and remove the detection for this if is a false alarm?

It can be downloaded from here (with the new installer):

Is your virus database updated?
Recently, a set of false positives were corrected.
If it is still being detected, wait a little for they to correct this error. It will be done very soon.

Yes it is, unfortunately.

As a workaround, you can add these files to the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning) exclusion list.
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize. Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…
You can use wildcards like * and ?. But be carefull, you should ‘exclude’ that many files that let your system in danger.

Although, it will be better to wait for they to correct the false positive before installing.

if the file is detected with last VPS as virus, then we’ll fix it

yay, it’s seems to be corrected! Thanks!
