Hello there, I am the webmaster and developer of ShockingSoft, and I have a software that already has 150.000+ downloads, but Avast is incorrectly detecting my AutoClicker (Download) as being “Dropper.Generic.AAIA” or “Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}” and maybe other variants of trojan droppers.
This is surely a false detection because I made the software and I know there are no viruses/trojans in it.
Is there any chance to have an analyst to have a look and remove these false detections? I am receiving too much complains from users all around the world.
As Tech mentioned they are usually quick to correct an FP, they do need to have it reported and a sample to analyse.
Send the sample to virus@avast.com zipped and password protected with the password in email body, a link to this topic might help and false positive in the subject.
They are usually quick to correct when identified, normally we would suggest periodically scanning the file (after VPS updates) in the avast chest (don’t know if you personally use avast) to see when it is no longer detected.
