False positive on eastusr-notifyp.svc.ms when visiting Microsoft OneDrive.

Microsoft sends me a daily email containing links to images previously uploaded to OneDrive. I have never had any problems clicking through from the email to the OneDrive website until a day or so ago. Now when I click through my connection is aborted and the OneDrive Website never appears (a connection reset error occurs instead). Avast One displays:

“We’ve safely aborted connection on eastusr-notifyp.svc.ms because it was infected with URL:Phishing”

The Alert ID: da08fcd95cd9/220411.0821-0500

This behavior now occurs on multiple computers for me. The site is certainly not serving up malware; this seems to be a false positive and it is negatively affecting what would be normal and safe browsing. What can be done to stop Avast from preventing me from seeing the OneDrive website (besides disabling it of course)? Thanks in advance,

P.

Hi, you can report a suspected FP (File/Website) here: https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php

I was unaware of the form and have reported it thank you.

You’re welcome.
