False positive report form – no answer

Hi,

Users of my website are reporting that the website is blocked as “Phishing”, which is clearly a false positive. I’ve submitted the false positive form a few times, but I didn’t get any response so far, after weeks.

uploads.comparajogos.com.br is our CDN. The blocked URL is the image is a board game cover.

Another user reported that even our GraphQL API endpoint was blocked as phishing:

Is there an alternative contact method for this issue, given that the false positive form has given us no feedback within weeks?

Thank you.

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

If you have only been using the link in the Alert window.

You could try the location to report both a False Positive and or a False Negative (for File or URL) - Choose Your Sample Submission Type | Avast

  • You won’t get a direct response but it should be analysed within 48 hours, if found to be false it will be removed. If it hasn’t been remove it must still be considered suspect

There are sites that can also check a site link and or file upload.

Edit: It isn’t wise to post an active link to the suspect location. That said I have used it to report as a possible FP.

Hello @renatoat

Thank you for raising this!

The reported URL was manually checked and based on the findings the detection was removed. The website is now marked as clean in the Avast virus database. This change may take up to 1 hour to take full effect. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused.

If the detection persists after 1 hour, please update the Avast virus database and try again.

Thank you.
