My personal website is in this category now for some reason. I’ve owned this domain for 20+ years. It does no phishing of any kind, and I do not collect any visitor data. Why would I be on this list, and how do I get off of it?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
A screenshot of the Avast Alert window, with the More Details option enabled might help us to help you.
You can also test your site against the following:
The first VirusTotal checks against 92 virus scanners, post a link to the results. The other two check for weaknesses and or vulnerabilities in your website. A low hit rate, say 5/92 detections would be worth manual investigation by the Avast Virus Labs Team.
New location to report both a False Positive and or a False Negative (for File or URL) - Choose Your Sample Submission Type | Avast - You won’t get a direct response but it should be analysed within 48 hours, if found to be false it will be removed.
But it is better to check out the above sites first and post the results here.
I can then try and attract some Avast Team attention to your problem.
