Avast reports both Goodsync-v1–setup and Goodsync.exe as suspect, but there doesn’t seem any way to report a false positive. Clicking on the link to do so does nothing. Mail to virus@avast.com bounces back. They don’t make it easy!
Hi tombar,
It could have come with a corrupt or either an invalid signature:
https://www.reasoncoresecurity.com/goodsync.exe-a4e633cdc045518997c5e03b1335a768320182b4.aspx
and that could have been an explanation for thea vast alert. Or just a FP like Eddy says it is.
By the way only 3% of users uninstalled the program: http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/GoodSync-9383-program.aspx
So wait for an official reaction from avast, as those that react here as a rule are only volunteers,
