False/Poss Trying to download file.

I’m trying to download m4vgear.exe at (windows version)

It this really a virus. When I try to download it the download abruptly stops and then I can’t visit the page again. It’s a popular program and Norton doesn’t catch it but avast does. No talk on the internet of this being a virus.

Do you have Norton and avast installed?

Separate computers actually. Here is what it does. Chome interrupts the download about half way. Then the webpage I’m downloading from disappears and won’t let me view it. If I disable avast and download it I’m fine but if I enable avast after have the file downloaded it detects Win32:Evo-gen[susp] and and then quarantines the file.
