Dear Avast Forum,

Is the site (www).fanbox.com virus, malware or spam-related?

  • Received an email from a friend
  • Subject was ‘I sent you some love’
  • Stupidly opened it (I know!!! I normally am paranoid about such stuff!!)
  • No attachments or other suspicious spelling errors etc.
  • appeared to be a mass-mailout similar to facebook’s sending messages to all in the address book

Finjan detected no problems with the website. Avast and MBAM didn’t register anything upon opening the email.

Should I be worried?

I got no warnings from avast when I visited the site. it seems to be some sort of social networking site.
