Fastmail Ext takes FOREVER to startup, BUT Opens Immediately w/MS Edge

Why does my Fastmail extension take FOREVER to startup, if at all, even after I cleared the ENTIRE history & cache. Yet, MS Edge opens immediately, no problem? :‘( :’(
