I really get fed up with Premium, paid for ultimate even. All them popups.
Messages on my laptop about outdated drivers that aren’t, Delaying my paid Proton and Nord-VPN services sayin i am not protected.

And those popups appear about every ten seconds or so, even if I’m not online. I am seriously thinking of taking Avast out and installing something else if they don’t stop the annoying full screen popups. If I wanted the paid service, I’d have it. I don’t, so those are doubly annoying.
I didn’t pay for premium to be spammed to death. I’ve been a customer for two decades and this will be my last year with Avast. Thanks Norton for killing what was a great product….
years and years ago I went to Avast to get away from Norton. Looks like I’ll be trying to get away from Norton again.
With one of the latest updates ~07.11 or 08.11 - i constantly have AVAST screem poping up. Even in SILENT mode, even with Game Mode enabled on Windows.
The issue occurs both on PC and Laptop and at this point I am tired of fighting avast. Even bothered to register and go to forums.
Minimizing to tray → avast screen pops-ups after 3-4 minutes in taskbar and window on the screen.
Closing Avast screen → avast screen pop-ups after 3-4 minutes in taskbar and window on the screen.
That is infuriating.
apparently, when you try to uninstall avast and pick “too many pop-ups and notifications” as the reason → they offer you to enable Limited Mode which is described to disable pop-ups and notifications… Which i guess is different from Silent Mode?Anyways, I chose to uninstall and go with a different antivirus provider. But check if maybe Limited Mode might solve your issue.
thanks user 4858 , i’ll try to find limited mode .
Sure you did! If Norton took over Avast, you are in year one of the new Avast trial. Two decades of experience with Avast means nothing. I also have decades of experience with free Avast and feel that with the Premium, I only gained an odd Sandbox.
