File modification dates and times

Hi, is it normal for the Avast files webshlock.txt, aswar0.dll, clnr0.dll, dllcc.dat, exts0.dll, uiaux.dll, and the .vpu files to show a modification date pertaining to when you boot your computer regardless of whether Avast updated or not? Seems whenever I boot my computer those files show a modification date and time pertaining to the time I boot my machine.

edit: Actually it looks like the .vpu files get modified/updated when the defs get updated. The other files listed seem as though they get new modified times and dates when I boot into Windows regardless of an update or not.

Thanks.

The webshlock.txt is only created when the web shield is in use, the other I haven’t the slightest clue.

What I do know is that the avast self-defence module should I believe block any unauthorised modification of avast files, so me I don’t go looking for trouble unless I have a specific problem. So do you have a specific problem ?

The creation of a file will automatically have a new modified date too.

No problems just something I noticed on different systems with Avast installed so I guess it’s normal.

Yes, pretty much normal I would say.
