Another product I use has a small utility that you download and when you want to submit a sample, you just run the utility, browse for the file and it sends it. Totally fast and easy. Any chance Avast could produce such a utility?
Do you mean malware samples?
What is wrong with adding it to the chest and sending it from there, no need for another utility. If as JuninhoSlo suggests if it is an Undetected Malware sample:
Open the chest and right click in the Chest and select Add, navigate to where you have the sample and add it to the avast chest (see image). Once in the chest, right click on the file and select ‘Submit to virus lab…’ complete the form and submit, the file will be uploaded during the next update.
Or haven’t you seen that you can do that.
Oh…I didnt know you could add files from the virus chest… :-[ Nevermind… ;D
Now you know ;D
Don’t forget, manually adding the file to the chest isn’t the same as if avast had added after detection, the file you manually add also remains in the original location.
