firewall compatibility problem with avast 6.0.1289

Hello everybody!!

When I updated to the lastest release of avast free the speed of my pc droped down like a snail!
I also had Online Armor 5.1 installed…Internet connection , explorer , everything froze up on me! On my Daughters laptop I experienced other problems : She had Zonealarm free installed , when I excecuted the Avast update and rebooted , whe diden’t have any connection to the internet anymore!!! ( wireless )
when I tried the combo with Comodo free ( defence + enabled ) my cpu went nuts ( comodo fluxuating with almost 100% cpu all the time )
can someone please explain this to me?? in the past I diden’t experience any problems with any of the configs mentioned above!!

Try deleting avast processes from the applications lists in your firewalls, reboot your systems and wait for avast to be rediscovered then make sure that all avast processes are set to allow all, there should be three sevices - AvastSvc.exe, AvastUI.exe and Avast setup.

If that still has no effect try realtime shield\web shield\expert settings and tick the box to scan well known browser processes only.
