Firewall group glitch

Hi, recently I’ve been trying to set a new rule to a program I need to block the access to internet.
Though, everytime I back out the “Packet rules” window, the new application rule simply disappears and what happens is that I cannot delete the new created group because apparently there is still this new application rule I set but that cannot be seen if I expand said group that contains this application rule.

Whoops, I forgot to include my question, which is:
How can I delete this glitched group? It doesn’t let me because it says the directory is not empty while in reality when I expand the group it says nothing.
Also, sorry for double posting.

A clean installation of avast will remove the group.

It is possible after you reboot the system the group setting will be accessible and you can remove offending setting. Goes without saying you’ll need to reboot again to remove the entire group once again.

Could be that to make your new setting stick you will have to…reboot?
