Hello!
I would like to use Firewall feature in avast! Mobile Security for my Android.
However, it’s very complicated.
The problem is that I would like to set up “White List” mode to pass only allowed applications.
It would be simple, if an application was self-contained, like imo.im or Skype.
But there’s a plenty of built-in and system applications, such as Google Play, Weather, Samba filesharing, etc which consist of several modules.
Using DroidWall, I could check which applications TRIED to connect and decide whether allow them to do that or not.
In avast! Mobile security I haven’t found any traces of event log.
Therefore it is virtually impossible to configure Firewall to allow certain software.
DroidWall has a FAQ page at least. So people can understand that multimodule applications need a specific treatment.
So, the question is:
How can I see which applications TRIED to connect for taking my decisions?
