My custom firewall rules disappear after I restart Windows 10, and I have to recreate them every time.
I’ve already run the app repair, but the problem remains.
Maybe someone is familiar with this issue and can help me out.
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
You don’t say what Avast Product you are using and what version number, I use the Avast Antivirus Free and Windows 10 - my details are below my post.
I don’t have many Rules Set but they remain. My Firewall is set to Smart Mode see attached image.
Avast Antivirus Free version 26.6.11052g (Build 26.6.11052.987)
New apps: ask
New networks: Smart Mode + notifications
Try setting it to Smart Mode, restart and see it has any effect.
I’m just wondering if having set it to Ask it will continue to do so even if you have added a Firewall rule for it (which it really shouldn’t)it
