Firewall Setting for Samba Filesharing, What Does "Root Execution" Mean?

Hi all,

today I installed Samba Filesharing on my HTC Sensation XE. Being in White List mode I had to check Root Execution (deutsch: ROOT Ausführung) to get Samba Filesharing to work.

What exactly does “Root Execution” mean and which applications / system modules need this? Could this possibly a security leak?

ROOT execution is all commands executed within a SU shell.
