Firewall won't start

Hello,

I bought Avast Premium and am using it on 3 devices. My problem is that I can’t launch the Avast firewall.
I am using the version 11.1.2241 of Avast premium on windows 8.1. So :

  • Am I posting on the right forum?
  • Where can I get help?
  • How can I get refunded?

Have you tried 2-3 restarts?

I’ve tried more than 3 reboots actually

Is previous used AV fully removed ?

Have you tried avast repair, from ad/remove programs?

The previous AV has been removed fully. I hav already used Avast auto repair twice.

autorepair? .... ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > next popup box will have a repair option

Ok methinks I found it, the avast installation was corrupted and the image path to the firewall was not written

S2 avast! Firewall; pas de ImagePath

Download Avast Uninstall Utility to your Desktop.
Download the correct version of Avast
Avast Free
Avast Pro
Avast Internet Security
Avast Premier
Disconnect from the net
Uninstall Avast via control panel

[]Run the uninstall tool and accept the reboot to safe mode

]Once complete reboot your system
[*]Reinstall Avast
