my avast won’t let me turn on my firewall or choose my location eg. home ???
did you just install avast?
what AV did you use before avast?
did you uninstalled it before installing avast?
i hat to reinstall it on a new HDD but the same computer as my old HDD died so the MAC address and the OS keygen are the same it’s the internet security that I’m using and there are 116 days left before i have to renew
Repair avast!:
- Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
- Click on ‘Repair’.
- Follow instructions.
- Reboot.
i just learned from the howtogeek forum that I’m protected with my windows firewall and that the two would conflict with each other
