Flash Drives

I have inserted 2 different Flash drives into 2 different computers and Avast 5 has found malware which it sent to the virus chest.
When I deleted the file from the chest the problem has gone. Unfortunately because I deleted them I don’t know what the malware was. (I think it was WIN32 malware gen ). Has anybody else had this problem, I don’t think it was genuine, but probably a false positive. Or was it just another bug in Avast 5.

Since the files are gone, it's a little hard to tell what they where or if they could have been a false positive.

I agree never mind. But looking on this forum and CNET there seems to be a lot of unhappy people with Avast 5. It was a long time in Beta why didn’t they get it right.

They did get it right. 99.9% of us are very happy and we don’t complain.
Unfortunately, the 0.1% who probably haven’t followed directions are complaining. ;D

+1

Its the ones that follow the Squeaky wheel gets the grease methology first before coming here to find great directions and help:
