I put a password for the settings in my program but I didn’t write it down somewhere and now I can’t remember it… It’s very unpleasent to say the least. I’m not able to open my settings and change anything. I even can’t update the core of the program.
Any ideas how to fix that?

Best of recollection you must uninstall the antivirus.
Please note the difference between your Avast Account and your Avast One or Antivirus passwords.
