I’m manualy moved a copy of a file to chest and sended it to further analysis but so far withour any answer.
My system behave normally (win7x64), and honestly I do belive that this is fp…but anyway what is worring me a little bit is a fact that avast is unable to force this file to delete or move it (so if this file was malicious I would be in trouble…)
I don’t think it needs further analysis as a) avast detects it and b) virustotal pretty much confirms the detection.
So you need to remove it from the original location.
For access denied, type issues you can run a boot-time scan if you have Win2k, XP, vista or Win7 (all 32bit), enable a boot time scan.
For avast 4.8 Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, a memory scan will take place followed by the opening of the Simple User Interface, Menu, ‘Schedule boot-time scan…’ Or see http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php. Don’t opt for deletion (you have no options left), always send to the chest and investigate.
For 5.0 Boot-Time Scan, see http://sites.google.com/site/spg20scottsweb/home/avast-5-boot-time-scan
Schedule a Boot-Time Scan - Open the avast UI, select Scan Computer, Boot-Time Scan, Select the areas you want to scan and click Schedule now. It will now run on the next boot, or you can click the Restart computer option.
There may be other elements protecting this file, so try there other tools:
