FP Win32:Delf-MZG in Pegasus Mail 4.4 Can't connect to POP and STMP server

I have the most recent Avast Program and VD with XP PRO. I got the FP on my Pegasus Mail wi_sph.dll. Put in the Chest. Ran the scan and found it to be virus free. Tried to restore it, but it still shows in my Chest. Extracted it and overwrote the existing file in pmail/programs.

Now I can’t connect to my mail servers. I use the Avast Mail Scanner, but when I ask to get my mail, it doesn’t come up. When I try to send mail, I get the following message from Pegasus Mail.

[*] Connection established to 204.127.217.17 >> 0091 421 Cannot connect to SMTP server 204.127.217.17 (204.127.217.17:25), connect error 10061 << 0021 EHLO [12.74.242.88] 7: Socket read error 2745.

This is new, as of today. I updated the program today and also the Virus Definitions. I have no idea what the quoted language means.

Can any of you help me get this straightened up?

It is possible that this DLL is in fact a Winsock LSP and needs to be registered.
I’d say the easiest/safest solution at this stage would be to reinstall Pegasus Mail (instead of trying to fix the DLL).
