Just had two files, both named unp[string of 8 numbers].tmp.mdmp located in the AVAST Software\Avast\Log folder flagged up as JS:Bicololo-Y [Trj] with the latest definition, submitted to virus lab, but assuming it’s an FP?
The .mdmp file type are dump files, these are created when avast has a problem/hiccup and being a dump file may contain some memory strings, that could be incorrectly detected.
I have a few .mdmp files on the logs folder (No detections on mine), but it is different to where you are reporting it, mine are in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\log folder (XP location), but presumably you have not posted the full path.
Mine also don’t have the .tmp suffix in the file name as you reported, .tmp.mdmp
I got the “same” Problem here… also today dected:
unp302874592433158339.mdmp in: C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\log
last change of data (sorry I’m german): 21.03.2013 at 05:40:32 pm
Transferetime (where i put it into the container): 14.06.2013: 00:12:57
Virus: JS:Bicololo-Y[Trj]
As you said above… maybe a false detect? I don’t know but i scanned immedeatly with the bootscan and it found nothing else…
But when i scan it inside of the container it alarms all over again.
I also uploaded it with the upload-button to avast.
The trojan attack detection is really for PHP header malware and WordPress on websites.
Don’t know how that is related here?
There is also a discussion on it here: http://www.forospyware.com/t459303.html
