"From Around The Web" ads

Hi all,

Is there to stop the “From Around The Web” ads. I found a few pages like below but they didn’t seem to do the job.

I have a free home version of avast and have been using it for a long time, not sure why it fails to stop this, although all the functions, as well as my Win firewall seem to be on.
