Avast have some functions which cuts down the scan time, it saves some cache or whitelists during scan, dont know well.
Does boottime scan also does this or to achieve this full system scan is necessary?
Did a boottime scan but didn’t performed full system scan yet.

Temporary cache (Windows session until reboot), most probably not.
Permanent cache, I don’t know, but probably not either (it’s not “loaded” before boot).
But I’m not an avast programmer. Just my feeling about it.
Will do a full system scan too.
