I have the internet security program and recently when i run a full system scan it does not scan all files when it is completed. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem. Thanks
What do you mean does not scan all files ? How many files does it scan ?
In the scan logs in the results column it says " some files could not be scanned"
OK :D. Avast! can not scan corrupted files or files protected by a password. Do you have the log or can you post a screenshot of the log ?
It’s probably archived files. For instance other software which are password protected. Software like avast, MalwareBytes, Super Anti-Spyware. These file are by nature inert. They are not executable files and pose no problems. Files that are in “packed” form can do no harm until they are “unpacked”. After that the file and behavior shield kick in and do their stuff.
What are your scan settings? Packers, memory, rootkits among others.
