I started a full scan. When the scan reached 100%, the scan window became blank, and I couldn’t interact with it. Please advise what to do in this case.
I am not an Avast Team member, just another user. I also do not run Full Virus Scan at all often, so have not seen this myself.
Do your Notifications, red (2) at top, tell you anything?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
With a resident (on-access) scanner the need for on-demand scans is much depreciated. For the most part dormant/inert files are being scanned, the other active files are going to be scanned by the resident shields when they are activated.
Whilst I would expect it to complete with success it is going to take a lot of time. When it does complete, I would imaging you are likely to get ads for paid Avast options based on what it found.
Hopefully as rocksteady mentioned you might get a clue in the notifications, but likely to be promotions.
