Galaxy S2 lost. Can´t enable anti-theft!

I lost my Galaxy S2 and tried to use the app. But when I go to my in my account (myavast.com) it shows that: “Security Status: ATTENTION Solve problem”. I click on it and the information is that: “The avast! Anti-Theft component on your device is disabled.” Although I fill required fields and click on the “Enable” button to enable it remotely, nothing change!! What´s the problem??

Hi,

Did you install AntiTheft on your lost device?

By the way, you can try using SMS Command to remote control your lost phone. Now, send a message 2222 LOST (2222 here is replaced with your PIN) to your lost phone number.

Good luck,
Binh

Hi binhvirile,

I think so, I installed the anti-theft. When I enter in my account (myavast.com) it shows:

Anti-Theft
Version: 2.0 Build 2589
Installed as System App: No
Application Name: Arcade

I choose the name Arcade…

Am I correct?
Anyway, I´ll try the command 2222LOST. I have to send this SMS to the new number? (I know the new number because I`d configurated the device to send this, not the anti-theft)

Tks

Hi,

As a reminder, the correct URL is my.avast.com. Beside, according to the information you’ve provided, your version of Anti-Theft is not the latest version so it may not working fine by using web portal.

In case of the theft changed your SIM Card into a new one, send SMS command to this new phone number.

If you need more help, feel free to ask this.

Good luck,
Binh
