Choose the custom install and uncheck all add-ons.
I have Snap 3 (on my win7 netbook) from their last give away, a nice little screen-capture utility. Looks like I will get an upgrade ;D
They do send you emails for other products, but you can unsubscribe no hassle (I did and no repeats).

With Snap 5 make certain you select custom install. With quick you will have a new toolbar and default search.

LOL. Yep, those are bold letters. I didn’t get past the image and the link. Don’t pay any attention to me. A little ADD happening here.
I’m just having hassle actually getting the Snap 5 registration key, their site is an absolute mess. Can’t get past step 2, well can’t even get to step 2 whatever the complete basic user profile is, even more so where the heck is the basic profile that requires completion.
I have fired them off an angry email as to install Snap 5 I had to uninstall Snap as it installs in a different location, so I couldn’t save my customisations and then I couldn’t bl**dy register it, not a happy bear.
If I remember rightly I had hassle getting Snap 3 registered also.

I skipped the whole registration. I believe I hit continue without entering an email address. I thought this registration was to upgrade to version 6 trial. Snap 5 is working fine without this registration so far. My pay attention is broken this afternoon so I’m not sure what really happened.
You will find out in 10 days that you have to register to get a key for Snap 5, I also declined download Snap 6 free trial.

Well mine looked entirely different to yours. I gave my email and requested full version key. My email had an confirmation that this was my email link and NO KEY.
Please confirm with a click on the link that you own this e-mail address and that we are allowed to send you the requested free license key for Ashampoo® Snap 5 now.
The confirmation link took me to a different page (image1), and no email with registration was sent.
Today however, I used the same confirmation link on my XP system and I have now been able to complete and receive my email with license. I had tried again earlier on my win7 netbook where Snap 5 is actually installed and I stilt got that stuff up page in my image, weird.
Maybe things work differently on the other side of the ocean ???
